A woman from Derby, who endured a harrowing series of violent assaults at the hands of her partner, has come forward to share the terrifying details of her ordeal.
The perpetrator, Jack Kelly, a 29-year-old man from Littleover, subjected his partner to a relentless campaign of physical and emotional abuse over a period of nine months, with threats of killing her hanging over every incident.
During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Kelly's violence was both severe and systematic.
