According to court reports, Tait had intercourse with the underage boy on two occasions during September and October of 2019 at locations in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
The 31-year-old appeared before Aberdeen Sheriff Court where he pleaded guilty to two charges, including the two sexual assault incidents.
In addition, Tait confessed to coercing the boy into viewing sexual images, communicating indecently, asking the child to send images of himself, and sending the boy explicit pictures and videos.
