IAN STIRZAKER FROM HAPTON SENTENCED FOR SERIAL SEX OFFENSES IN LIVERPOOL

In a significant development in the ongoing fight against sexual crimes, Ian Stirzaker, a resident of Hapton, has been formally sentenced to nearly three years in prison after admitting to multiple counts of sexual misconduct. The case, which drew considerable attention, was heard at Liverpool Crown Court, where Stirzaker, aged 55, pleaded guilty to five counts of indecent assault involving two young victims spanning a period from 1975 to 1988.

The case was originally scheduled to be heard at Burnley Crown Court; however, it was transferred to Liverpool for reasons not specified in the court documents.
