In a case that has shocked the community of Mullion and the wider West Cornwall area, Ian Horler, a 31-year-old man, has been sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of serious sexual offenses involving two young boys. The incidents took place over a span of several years, with the first offense occurring in 2002 and the second in 2008, highlighting a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior.

Horler, who resided at Predannack Holiday Village in Mullion, was found guilty by a jury in December of two counts of indecent assault and unlawful sexual activity. The first victim, a boy who was just 13 years old at the time, was assaulted on his 13th birthday in 2002. The second victim, a 15-year-old, was targeted in 2008.
