IAIN YATES FROM LOCHAILORT SENTENCED FOR PREDATORY CRIMES AGAINST TEEN GIRL
Iain Yates, a 46-year-old man from Lochailort, was brought before Stirling Sheriff Court to face serious criminal charges related to his disturbing conduct involving a minor.The court heard that Yates had engaged in a pattern of predatory behavior, which included sending explicit messages and secretly filming a 15-year-old girl without her consent.
These actions were carried out over a period of time, revealing a calculated effort to exploit the young victim for his own sexual gratification.
Yates pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including the transmission of sexual text messages and the repeated recording of the girl through video, all without her knowledge or approval.
The court was also informed that Yates had a history of voyeuristic behavior involving a neighboring woman, a charge that the Crown accepted as separate from the main allegations but indicative of a troubling pattern of predatory conduct.
