HAYDN PHILLIPS FROM NEWTOWN JAILED FOR 21 MONTHS AFTER SEXUAL OFFENCE

A 19-year-old man has been sentenced to 21 months in prison after being convicted of engaging in sexual activity with a minor schoolgirl, and he was identified as a 'predator'. Haydn Phillips, who resides at The Foyer Hostel in Newtown, had previously been subject to a community order which he subsequently breached. The judge at Mold Crown Court described him as a serious risk to young girls. Additionally, Phillips has been ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years and must adhere to a sexual harm prevention order for that period.
