SERIAL WOMAN ABUSER HARRY FOSTER JAILED AGAIN FOR ASSAULT AND BREACHES OF RESTRAINING ORDER
A serial domestic violence thug who "dominates and degrades" his girlfriends has been jailed for the fourth time for crimes against women.Harry William Elmer Foster's latest victim told York Crown Court the 23-year-old had made her life hell and that she fears he won't stop until she is dead.
Elmer Foster, who lives in Cayley Close in Rawcliffe, regularly insulted her appearance until she felt like, "the ugliest girl in the world" and ordered her to leave her job.
When he threatened to kill her, he was jailed for 18 weeks and handed a restraining order on January 1.
By February, Elmer Foster was released on licence and had rekindled his relationship.
Prosecutor Victoria Hajba-Ward told the court that he made his girlfriend feel guilty for not contacting him while he was in prison.
By May, the court heard that his girlfriend phoned a domestic abuse counsellor, who heard Elmer Foster shouting at her in the background.
The couple would get into physical fights and his girlfriend's legs would be covered in bruises.
He was jailed again for breaking the restraining order and for beating her.
During Elmer Foster’s second 2021 stay behind bars, his girlfriend contacted him, using a fake email address, and told him she loved him.
Judge Sean Morris said that he made his ex-girlfriend feel guilty and that Elmer Foster gets more controlling every time he is released from prison, with the court stating he "regards females as your own personal property to do with as you like, to dominate and to degrade.
It shows in you a great character flaw." He was released in August 2020, began this latest relationship days later, and his latest victim believes he is becoming more controlling.
Elmer Foster pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order between June 9 and 24 and was sentenced to 20 months in prison.
Judge Morris emphasized that if Elmer Foster appears before him again for offences against women, he will pass the longest sentence possible, highlighting the severity of his repeated abusive behavior.
