HAROLD CHARLTON FROM LINDRICK SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL GROOMING IN CHESTER

Following the online exchanges, Charlton traveled from his home in South Yorkshire to Chester, where he arranged to meet the victim in a local pub. After meeting in person, the two left the pub and sat in Charlton’s car. The mother provided officers with indecent images and conversations exchanged between her son and Charlton, which served as crucial evidence in the case.

Following the discovery, authorities detained Charlton for questioning. During his interview under caution, he admitted to sending sexually explicit messages to the victim, confirming his involvement in the grooming and abuse.
