ANGLESEY MAN SENT INDECENT IMAGES TO ANOTHER WHILE 'HIGH'
A man from Anglesey, Gwilym Williams, aged 36 and residing in Brynsiencyn, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, stored images of child sexual abuse on his mobile device and shared some with another individual.
On July 21, at Caernarfon Crown Court, he was given a two-year prison sentence, suspended for the same duration.
Williams pleaded guilty to three counts of producing indecent images of a child and two counts of distributing such images.
Authorities discovered pictures showing children aged from one month to 15 years being sexually exploited, including some classified as the most severe (category A).
Williams admitted to viewing pornography while intoxicated with methamphetamine and deleting the images afterward, denying any active sexual interest in children.
The court also ordered him to be on the sex offenders register for 10 years, issued a sexual harm prevention order, and imposed additional restrictions such as a curfew and mental health treatment.
