GREG MASON FROM ROTHBURY SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS ON YOUNG BOY IN NORTHUMBERLAND
In a recent case heard at Newcastle Crown Court, Greg Mason, a resident of Rothbury, Northumberland, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting a young boy.
The incidents took place when Mason was between the ages of 16 and 19, during which he committed two separate acts of sexual assault that inflicted severe psychological trauma on the victim.
Despite denying the charges throughout the trial, Mason was found guilty by a jury after a thorough examination of the evidence presented in May.
The court was informed that Mason, who was 22 at the time of sentencing, had no prior criminal record, which made the case particularly troubling given the nature of his offenses.
