A MONSTER rapist who was found guilty at Scotland’s High Court has been jailed for nine years and placed on the sex offenders register.
Graeme William Robertson, born June 16, 1992, was convicted following a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh on October 13, 2025.
Court documents confirm Robertson was found guilty of rape.
The sick predator, from Ormiston, was handed a sentence totalling nine years — made up of six years in custody followed by a further three years on extended licence after release.
Official paperwork states the sentence was backdated to October 20, 2025.
Following the conviction, Robertson was automatically placed on the Sex Offenders Register, meaning he will now be subject to monitoring and restrictions by specialist police officers.
The case was heard at Parliament House in Edinburgh, where jurors returned a guilty verdict after hearing evidence against the 33-year-old attacker.
Under the terms of the sentence, Robertson will remain under supervision long after his release from prison due to the extended sentence imposed by the court.
The conviction adds Robertson to the growing number of violent sex offenders jailed in Scotland in recent years as courts continue to hand down lengthy custodial sentences for rape offences.
