January 2007 Rapist is jailed for eleven years A former soldier convicted of a string of child sex attacks dating back to the 1970s has been jailed for eleven years.
Glen Brundle raped an eight-year-old girl between 1970 and 1972, indecently assaulted another girl in the 1970s and sexually assaulted a boy in 1983.
Brundle, 50, of Marsh Lane, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, was convicted following a trial at Norwich Crown Court.
The married father of three was also placed on the sex offenders register for life.
Sentencing him, Judge Paul Downes said: “You were a teenager when you raped the eight-year-old but you used her vulnerability to satisfy your curiosity, or for your sexual gratification.”
