Lambourn Child Sexual Abuser
In February 2023, authorities in Lambourn uncovered a disturbing and deeply troubling case involving Geraint Elleschild, also known as Rees-Elleschild, whose residence became the focus of a comprehensive police raid. The investigation revealed a scene that shocked even seasoned law enforcement officers, exposing the extent of Elleschild's disturbing activities and the grotesque material stored within his home.
Upon entering the property located on Tubbs Farm Close in Lambourn, police officers were confronted with a bedroom that was grotesquely decorated with extreme pornography. The walls were covered with graphic images, some of which depicted deceased individuals, adding a layer of macabre horror to the scene. Among the most disturbing items found were images showing Elleschild himself engaging in sexual abuse of his pet cat, a revelation that underscored the severity of his criminal behavior.
Further examination of his belongings uncovered children's clothing and sex toys, which he had deliberately stained with fake blood, suggesting a disturbing fascination with violence and abuse. The police also seized his computer, which contained over 200 indecent images of children. These images ranged from less severe to the most extreme categories, including Category A, which is reserved for the most heinous forms of child exploitation, such as children being raped.
Prosecutor Stefan Weidmann described the findings as indicative of a profoundly disturbed individual. He stated, “This can only lead to the conclusion that the defendant is a disturbed man. I don’t advance that description lightly; looked at in the whole, a deeply perturbing image emerges.” The evidence included not only the extreme images but also items like children’s underwear and blood-stained sex toys. Police found a shopping list that suggested Elleschild’s intent to purchase a child's life jacket and arm bands, further illustrating his disturbing preoccupations.
During the investigation, police also discovered images of children being abused, along with photographs of deceased individuals, adding to the gravity of the case. Elleschild, who was employed as a cleaner at a Welcome Break motorway services, exercised his right to remain silent after his arrest. However, he later admitted to possessing 69 Category A indecent images of children, one image classified as Category B, and 93 images in Category C. Additionally, he pleaded guilty to creating 65 still images in Category B depicting children being abused.
Judge Nawaz addressed the court, describing Elleschild’s behavior as indicative of an “obsessive interest in children.” The judge highlighted that many of the extreme images involved young children being raped, emphasizing the severity of the crimes. Despite the disturbing nature of the evidence, the probation service assessed that Elleschild could be managed safely within the community, provided appropriate measures were taken. The judge remarked, “If work can be done to reduce the risk you pose, it’s better for you and better for the public.”
As part of his sentence, Elleschild was sentenced to 20 months in prison, suspended for two years. During this period, he is required to attend a specialized sex offenders’ program. He will also be on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years and subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for the same duration. The court did not order costs to be paid, citing Elleschild’s lack of financial means to do so, but the case leaves a stark reminder of the ongoing threat posed by individuals involved in such heinous crimes.
