A resident of Teesside, Garry Mallabar, aged 42, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after being convicted of creating and distributing indecent images of children. He was also found to possess a manual intended for paedophiles. Authorities uncovered his online activities, revealing that Mallabar engaged with others seeking to abuse children and provided advice on how to do so. During a police search of his home, electronic devices were seized, exposing hundreds of such images. In addition to his prison sentence, Mallabar was issued an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and will remain on the sex offenders register for life.
