The allegations involved a girl, with dates spanning from when she was seven to 16 years old during the 1960s and 1970s. Subsequently, another woman and a man also reported being sexually assaulted by Moran.
Detective Constable Linda Parry of Greater Manchester Police commented on the case, stating, "This is a man who took advantage and abused vulnerable children. It has been a traumatic experience for all the people concerned, and it has taken a lot for them to come forward."
