Eddwin Cortes-Pinerez, aged 40 and residing on Mitcham Lane in Streatham, was involved in multiple incidents of sexual misconduct against women in Greenwich.
He assaulted five women within a period of three weeks, each time approaching silently from behind on his bicycle and grabbing their buttocks before quickly cycling away.
According to the court, the offences demonstrated a consistent pattern: Cortes-Pinerez used his bicycle to target alone women in public spaces, approaching them swiftly and without warning, then grabbing and squeezing their buttocks firmly.
In most cases, the women could not identify him afterward because he rode away at speed.
One victim was badly hurt when she fell while trying to take a photograph of him, and another woman suffered a panic attack following the attack.
Initially, Cortes-Pinerez claimed his actions were mere pranks, but he later admitted to five counts of sexual assault and pleaded guilty.
He received a 19-month prison sentence and was also prohibited from cycling in the future.
