FISHGARD TEEN DYLAN TAYLER ADMITS TO MAKING OVER 1,000 INDECENT CHILD IMAGES IN PEMBROKESHIRE
In a disturbing case emerging from Fishguard, a 19-year-old local resident named Dylan Tayler has admitted to creating an alarming number of indecent images involving children.The offences, which span several months, have shocked the community and prompted serious legal proceedings.
According to court records, Tayler, who resides in Penbanc, Fishguard, confessed to producing a total of 1,023 indecent images.
These images were categorized into different levels of severity, with 84 classified as the most serious Category A images, 107 as Category B, and a significant 832 as Category C.
The offences took place over a period from February 2 to June 12 of the previous year, highlighting a sustained period of illegal activity.
The case was initially heard at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 18, where Tayler entered a guilty plea to all charges.
The magistrates, recognizing the gravity of the offences, committed the case to Swansea Crown Court for sentencing, which is scheduled to take place next month.
Prior to the sentencing, a pre-sentence report will be prepared by the probation service to assist the court in determining an appropriate penalty.
Until the sentencing hearing, Tayler has been released on conditional bail.
As part of the bail conditions, he is prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18.
Additionally, he must not sleep overnight at any premises where a child under 18 resides, in an effort to prevent any further potential harm or contact with minors.
The case has garnered significant attention within the Fishguard community and beyond, raising concerns about online safety and the protection of children from exploitation.
