In a series of disturbing incidents that have shocked the community of Wolverhampton, Dominic Abrams, commonly known by his nickname 'Snips', has been linked to multiple acts of violence directed towards women. The most recent and severe of these assaults occurred during a 15-minute violent episode inside a taxi, where Abrams subjected his girlfriend to a brutal attack that included verbal abuse, physical violence, and other aggressive behaviors.

Witnesses in various locations, including local bars and the taxi itself, observed the assault, which left the victim with visible injuries. She sustained a nosebleed, swelling, bruising, and even lost a tooth as a result of Abrams' violent outburst. The court proceedings revealed that Abrams' history of domestic violence is extensive, with nine convictions for a total of twenty offenses, many of which are related to abusive behavior within domestic settings.

During the sentencing at Wolverhampton Crown Court, the judge described Abrams as a 'dangerous to women' and sentenced him to 32 months in prison. The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of drugs found on Abrams at the time of his arrest. It was noted that his aggressive actions were significantly influenced by alcohol and drug use, which exacerbated his violent tendencies.

The assault has left the victim feeling constantly on edge and fearful of further violence from Abrams. In addition to the assault, Abrams was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault, and possession of both Class A and Class B drugs. His arrest last week was directly related to these offenses, which occurred during the early months of his relationship with the victim. Despite police orders to leave the scene, Abrams refused to do so, further demonstrating his defiance and violent nature.

The court proceedings highlighted the impact of Abrams' violent history on the mental health of the victim, emphasizing the ongoing threat he poses. His actions have not only caused physical injuries but have also inflicted significant psychological trauma, leaving the community and authorities concerned about his potential for future violence.
