DILDHAR MIAH FROM WEST HULME SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT AND CARVING HIS NAME INTO GIRLS' ARMS NEAR BOUNDARY PARK
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of West Hulme, Manchester, Dildhar Miah, aged 21, has been sentenced to six years in prison following a series of heinous acts involving young girls. The offences, which took place in August and November of the previous year, included both sexual assault and acts of physical intimidation against minors.According to court records, Miah, residing at Yasmin Gardens in West Hulme, was found guilty of assaulting two 14-year-old girls near Boundary Park in Manchester. During these assaults, he used a piece of glass to carve part of his nickname into their arms, a disturbing act that demonstrated a clear intent to exert control and inflict harm. The victims, both minors, were reportedly intoxicated at the time, which Miah exploited to carry out these acts of violence and intimidation.
Further investigations revealed that Miah was involved in the abduction of a third 14-year-old girl. In November of the same year, authorities discovered her at his residence, despite a prior child-abduction notice that explicitly prohibited him from communicating with her or allowing her to stay at his home. This violation of the legal order underscored the ongoing pattern of predatory behavior exhibited by Miah.
Additional disclosures from the third victim led to further charges against Miah. He was subsequently charged with three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child between August and November 2012, as well as child abduction with the intent to commit a sexual offence. Miah pleaded guilty to all charges, acknowledging his guilt in court.
Charlotte Rimmer, the District Crown Prosecutor representing CPS North-West, issued a statement condemning Miah’s actions. She emphasized that Miah targeted vulnerable young girls, attempting to manipulate and exploit them through intimidation and sexual misconduct. Rimmer highlighted the disturbing nature of the acts, noting that carving his nickname into the victims’ arms was a calculated move to exert dominance over them, especially while they were under the influence of alcohol.
The case has drawn widespread condemnation, and the community of West Hulme is left to grapple with the aftermath of these troubling events. The sentencing serves as a stark reminder of the importance of safeguarding minors and the need for vigilance against predators operating within local neighborhoods.
