MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT
A 40-year-old man from Crowthorne named Dean Dowlutta was found guilty of sexual offence charges after a four-day trial at Reading Crown Court, which finished on 3 November 2023.He appeared again at the court for sentencing on 12 January and was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
The criminal acts took place on two separate days in Wokingham: the first on 1 September 2021 and the second on 13 October 2021.
During the first incident, Dowlutta was present at a gym studio when he carried out a digital sexual assault on the victim.
The following month, on 13 October 2021, he sexually assaulted the same victim through inappropriate physical contact over her clothing.
Dowlutta was taken into custody on 16 October 2021, and he was formally charged on 14 October 2022 for these offences.
