A Telford paedophile named David Watts, aged 30, has been found to have accumulated a total of 96 images depicting the most serious category A child abuse material, as detailed by prosecutor Danny Smith during a hearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Thursday (July 3). The images included 47 of the most severe category A images, describing the content as "the most appalling abuse of children."Watts' illegal activities came to light following intelligence reports that images of child sexual abuse were being downloaded at his home address in Pinfield Croft, Waters Upton, between December 6, 2021, and March 2, 2023. Authorities responded by serving a warrant at his residence, during which they seized two Samsung devices.Watts admitted to committing three offences of making indecent images, one offence of possessing a prohibited image of a child, and one charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image. Despite the gravity of the offenses, Watts was spared imprisonment and was instead ordered to undertake rehabilitation activities to address his offending behavior.
