A resident of West Parley, David Mitchem, has been sentenced to prison after engaging in the distribution of indecent images of minors through a mobile application.The incident came to light when a recipient of Mitchem's messages reported receiving a disturbing image involving a 14-year-old boy.

During the search, police officers recovered Mitchem's mobile device and discovered a total of 58 illicit images stored on his phone.
