A pedophile shared a video of himself masturbating with someone he believed to be a 12-year-old girl on Snapchat, just a few months after being caught with hundreds of child abuse images and videos.

Police recovered three mobile phones from Lewis’s residence, which contained 263 Category A, 71 Category B, and 51 Category C indecent images of minors, including videos.

At the time he contacted the girl, Lewis was on bail and prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with children.

During the communication, he added the girl to his Snapchat, sent explicit images, and exposed himself via a video call.

Lewis admitted to committing multiple sexual offences involving minors and was sentenced to five years in prison.

Additionally, he is required to register as a sex offender for life and is subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
