DAVID JAMES FROM ABERCANAID SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULT IN BRENT

A man identified as David James, aged 66 and residing in Abercanaid, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a five-year-old boy in Brent during the 1970s.

The case came to light after the victim reported the assault, leading to James's arrest in 2013.

James faced trial at Harrow Crown Court, where he was convicted of one count of indecent assault.

However, he was acquitted of other charges that were brought against him.
