TWIN BROTHERS DAVID AND PAUL DONNELLY JAILED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES

In October 2020, two brothers from Clinkham Wood who admitted to historic sexual offences involving underage girls were sentenced to prison.

David Donnelly and Paul Donnelly, both aged 58, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court to receive their sentences.

David Donnelly received a 16-month imprisonment term after pleadings to charges of indecent assault on two girls under 14.

Paul Donnelly was sentenced to 20 months for committing three counts of indecent assault against a girl under 14.

Both brothers had previously admitted to the charges.

The offending acts reportedly occurred during the 1980s.

Furthermore, both men are required to sign the Sex Offenders Register for a decade.
