DAVID COON FROM ST. BLAZEY SENTENCED FOR ASSAULT AND ONLINE HARASSMENT IN CORNWALL

The court proceedings revealed that Coon pleaded guilty at Bodmin Magistrates Court to charges of harassment. The court was informed that Coon made threatening and abusive remarks to the woman’s family, promising to upload explicit images of her on the holiday camp website where she was staying. The threats extended to physical intimidation, with Coon demanding money and issuing threats of arson against her residence.

Following the threats, the family received an email from the holiday camp, informing them that Coon had posted the explicit photographs on their website. However, the camp authorities acted swiftly and deleted the images to prevent further distress. Despite the removal, the damage caused by Coon’s actions was significant.

As part of his sentencing, Coon was given a three-month suspended prison term, which means he will not serve time unless he breaches the conditions of his sentence. Additionally, a restraining order was issued against him, prohibiting any contact with the victim to prevent further harassment or intimidation.
