DAVID BEESLEY FROM MIDDLETON CHENEY ADMITS TO POSSESSING INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
In a case that has shocked the local community of Middleton Cheney, David Beesley, aged 28, has admitted to possessing a significant number of indecent images of children.The court proceedings revealed that Beesley, residing on Bowman Close, pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the possession of these illicit materials.
Specifically, Beesley confessed to creating 17 indecent images classified as Category B and a staggering 1,056 images categorized as Category C.
These images were produced and stored over a period spanning from December 2008 to April 2013.
The severity of the case was compounded by additional charges, as Beesley also admitted to making eight Category B images and 22 Category C images between May 10, 2016, and January 11, 2018.
The court took these offenses seriously, imposing a seven-year sexual harm prevention order on Beesley.
This order is designed to restrict his activities and prevent any further harm, reflecting the gravity of his actions.
Furthermore, Beesley was mandated to participate in a comprehensive 31-day sex offenders’ rehabilitation program, aimed at addressing his conduct and preventing future offenses.
In addition to these restrictions, the court imposed conditions on Beesley's communication, explicitly forbidding him from engaging with anyone under the age of 18, except for immediate family members.
This measure is intended to safeguard minors from potential harm and to monitor his interactions more closely.
As part of the court's sentence, Beesley was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85, along with court costs amounting to another £85.
These financial penalties are part of the broader effort to hold offenders accountable and support victims affected by such crimes.
