SUTTON STALKER WHO TURNED UP AT WOMAN’S HOME IS JAILED
A woman reported that Darren Holliday had been engaging in stalking and harassment towards her from August 2024 until February of the following year.
Her allegations detailed that Holliday continuously called her, visited her home and workplace, and also made phone calls to her place of employment.
Darren Holliday, aged 43 and residing on Laburnum Road in Colliers Wood, admitted to charges of stalking that caused significant alarm or distress, as well as harassment that instilled fear of violence.
During a hearing at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on April 11, he received a sentence of eight months in prison.
The magistrates emphasized that Holliday represented a persistent threat to the victim, leading to the issuance of a restraining order valid until 2031.
