LIVERPOOL SEX OFFENDER DANIEL WOLFE JAILED FOR LIFE FOR RAPING TWO GIRLS
A sick paedophile who filmed himself repeatedly raping two girls boasted about engaging in "the worst sex crimes imaginable".Daniel Wolfe, 40, carried out the devastating "campaign of rape" against the two girls over a number of months and shared the footage with other paedophiles online.
Wolfe, who carried out the attacks in north Sefton, also plotted with two other people over Telegram to carry out further abuse on one of the girls.
He was caught after he told an undercover police officer who he met on a disturbing Reddit forum that he had an interest in children.
Appearing before Liverpool Crown Court today, Friday, Wolfe was jailed for life after admitting dozens of offences including 28 counts of rape.
Presiding judge Simon Medland KC told him: "You robbed them of their innocence and you robbed them of their childhood." The court heard Wolfe told the undercover police officer in late November 2024 about his "shared perversions." Frances Willmott, prosecuting, said Wolfe expressed interest in children aged three and over, with a "sweet spot for girls between eight and 14".
Police arrested Wolfe on December 4, 2024.
Officers seized devices from him and found images related to sexual activity with children.
He was arrested again on May 29 at his parents' address in Skelmersdale.
Wolfe raped one victim more than 20 times, making her "perform" for the camera and sometimes film herself.
He also raped his younger victim on multiple occasions.
Evidence included conversations with an unidentified person on Telegram about planning to sexually abuse a child together, which was discussed as "one of the worst sex crimes imaginable".
Wolfe took thousands of images and videos of his victims, sharing some with other paedophiles, and expressed an interest in extreme pornography involving animals.
He stored all images on his devices, which he could access remotely using different PINs.
He had used self-deleting messages, indicating he was hiding his activities.
The victims suffered profound psychological damage; the older was "quiet, withdrawn" and refused to speak about Wolfe, while the younger was upset and frightened.
Wolfe had no previous convictions but received a caution in 2012 for making an indecent image of a child.
Earlier this year, he pleaded guilty to 35 offences across two indictments.
Defence argued Wolfe showed remorse and had recognized his unhealthy behaviors.
Judge Medland sentenced Wolfe to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 14 years before parole, and he will remain on the sex offenders' register for life and be subject to a sexual harm prevention order.
Wolfe did not react as he was sentenced.
