MAN SENTENCED TO NEARLY FIVE YEARS FOR RAPE AND DECEIT IN REDHILL
A man identified as Daniel Kennington has been convicted of a sexual assault after forcing a woman to have sex and subsequently denying the act ever happened.The incident took place at his residence in Redhill in March 2021.
During his court trial at Nottingham Crown Court, Kennington lied and fabricated stories to downplay the severity of his actions, causing the victim additional pain as she had to relive her trauma to testify.
Despite his attempt to deny the assault, the jury found him guilty of rape on a Friday and sentenced him to four years and nine months in prison.
