SEX OFFENDER DANIEL DODD AKA DAN BOYCE, NOW RESIDING IN CRAMLINGTON
In March 2014, Daniel Michael Dodd, who now goes by the name Dan Boyce, appeared at Newcastle Crown Court after pleading guilty to multiple sexual assault charges involving male children.
Dodd, aged 23 at the time, admitted to four counts of sexual assault against males under 16 years old.
The court heard that Dodd invited several male children, aged between 13 and 15, into his flat.
During these encounters, he provided the children with cigarettes and alcohol before sexually assaulting them.
It was noted that the original charges of grooming a child under 16 had been dropped.
Following his plea, Dodd was sentenced to a community order.
He is mandated to attend a specialized sex offenders' rehabilitation program.
Additionally, he will be under a supervision order for three years as part of his rehabilitation process, and he will have to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
As of June 2014, Dodd is living in Cramlington.
