BEBINGTON MAN SENTENCED OVER INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
A WIRRAL man has been sentenced after admitting possessing a cache of indecent images of children.Daniel Ball, 25, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on February 19 2026 for sentencing after previously pleading guilty to three offences - possessing 75 prohibited images of children, making (downloading) 13 Category C images of children and possessing 14 indecent images of children.
The offences were all committed in January 2023.
Ball, of Cross Lane, Bebington, was handed a 10 month prison sentence suspended for 18 months.
The custodial sentence was suspended due to there being a "realistic prospect of rehabilitation" and the defendant was ordered to work with the probation service to address the causes of his offending and to prevent re-offending.
Ball will have to complete 20 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement and sign the sex offender's register for 10 years.
