DAN HARDY AND HIS CRIME IN TOWCESTER AND BUCKINGHAM

A heinous offender named Dan Hardy has been sentenced to seven years in prison after committing a violent and disturbing assault in Buckingham. Hardy subjected a woman in her 20s to a brutal two-hour ordeal that included rape, during which he left her with severe bruises and multiple bite marks all over her face and body. The attack took place in the early hours of a November morning in 2014, specifically between 4am and 6am, at a flat located in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.

The incident was characterized by its brutality; Hardy’s assault was so severe that the victim was left physically scarred and emotionally traumatized. According to a spokesperson from Thames Valley police, “On November 29, 2014, between 4am and 6am, Dan Hardy raped the victim, a woman in her 20s, during a two-hour ordeal at an address in Buckingham. The victim sustained bruising and bite marks all over her body and face.”

Detective Constable Michele Weston commented on the case, emphasizing the traumatic effect of Hardy’s actions and praising the victim’s resilience. She stated, “This was a horrific ordeal for the victim in this case, and she has shown nothing but courage throughout this whole process. I hope now she will be able to move forward with her life now that justice has been served.”

Dan Hardy, initially from Greens Norton in Northamptonshire, was brought before Judge Justin Cole at Amersham Crown Court. Hardy did not deny the charges and admitted to the offence. His conviction resulted in a prison sentence of seven years, and he was also ordered to be registered on the Sex Offender’s Register for life, underscoring the severity of his crimes and the ongoing restriction on his freedom due to the nature of his offense.
