RUDHEATH MAN ADMITS CONTROLLING AND COERCIVE BEHAVIOUR
Dale Bennett from Rudheath confessed to engaging in controlling and coercive conduct towards a woman for over a year, ending in August 2024.He appeared at Chester Crown Court on July 8, having previously denied guilt regarding this and other allegations, which included assault resulting in actual bodily harm, criminal damage, and strangulation.
The judge decided to record these charges without a conviction, and Bennett is scheduled to be sentenced in September 2026 following a pre-sentence report.
He will remain on bail until that time.
