CATFORD PAEDOPHILE CONVICTED OF BRUTAL RAPES FACES POSSIBLE LIFE SENTENCE

A man named Clinton Easy, aged 32 and from Catford, has been convicted of two brutal rapes that occurred in early 2024.

He now faces a potential life sentence after being found guilty by Woolwich Crown Court.

Easy was previously jailed for two and a half years last summer for pimping out girls as young as 13 for sex, and he was due to be released from HMP Belmarsh in September.

However, following his recent conviction, his release is now delayed as he faces much longer imprisonment.

Judge David Miller is considering a life sentence during the upcoming sentencing in August, citing concerns over he being a danger to women and young girls due to his criminal history.

During the attacks, Easy threatened his victim, demanded she strip naked, tied her up, and raped her twice, after which he urinated on her, an act confirmed by police examination showing injuries consistent with violent rape.

Despite denying the crimes, a jury found him guilty.

Easy has a long history of violence dating back to 2007, predominantly towards women, including a suspended sentence in 2019 after an assault incident.

He was added to the Met Police’s V100 list for high-threat offenders and was involved in controlling child prostitution along with Tyler Belgrave-Breeds, with whom he worked in Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexleyheath, and Bromley.

Police investigations led to the safeguarding of three children.

While under investigation, Easy breached a sexual harm prevention order by approaching girls under 18 at The Old Gun Pit pub in Woolwich.

Both Easy and Belgrave-Breeds were convicted of controlling child prostitution and possessing indecent images of children.

The judge adjourned sentencing until August 12, where he will decide if a life sentence is justified, noting Easy's young age and potential danger to females.
