CHRISTOPHER HARVEY FROM KIRKCALDY SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT

A 16-year-old boy named Christopher Harvey from Kirkcaldy, who committed a sexual assault, has been sentenced to three years in prison. A sheriff also issued a warning to Harvey, urging him to accept treatment while in custody.
Harvey attacked a 14-year-old girl as she was walking through woods at Middle Den, Kirkcaldy, in October of the previous year.
Sheriff Gail Patrick told him during sentencing, 'It is with hesitation that I do not send you to the High Court for sentencing after you admitted assaulting the girl with intent to ravish her.' She emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, 'You are a danger to women. It is absolutely crucial you receive treatment while you are in custody.'
