PLYMOUTH PENSIONER CONVICTED OF REPEATED SEXUAL ABUSE OF DISABLED MAN
A court has found pensioner Christopher Fallon, aged 71, guilty of repeatedly raping and abusing a disabled friend over more than four years.Fallon tricked the vulnerable man into believing he was receiving medical treatment, including with a vibrator, which he used for sexual gratification.
The victim, with learning difficulties, was raped and abused multiple times a week, with prosecutors estimating up to 150 incidents.
Fallon, who was previously married with children, denied 18 counts of sexual abuse, including four of rape, but was convicted on all counts by a jury.
The court heard that Fallon manipulated the victim, who could not recognize the abuse, and that Fallon took advantage of his trust.
He is now remanded in custody until sentencing, which will occur at Exeter Crown Court on February 17, and faces a potential sentence of over a decade for multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and causing sexual activity.
