MAN JAILED FOR 12 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES

A 63-year-old man from Clock Face has received a prison sentence of 12 years following his conviction for child sex crimes.

Christopher Evans, residing on Clock Face Road, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, 12 December.

He was given this sentence after being found guilty of two counts of sexual assault.

Prior to this, he admitted to charges of possessing indecent images and provoking a child to participate in sexual acts.

The allegations pertain to a single victim and occurred between the years 2023 and 2024.
