CHRIS AITKEN FROM STANION CAUGHT WITH HUNDREDS OF CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN NORTHAMPTON

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community of Stanion, Chris Aitken, a resident of Cardigan Road, has been found guilty of possessing a large collection of illegal and highly disturbing images depicting child abuse. The incident came to light when Aitken was brought before Northampton Magistrates' Court earlier this month, where he pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to indecent images.

According to court records, Aitken, aged 35, admitted to viewing and downloading more than 500 images of child abuse over a period spanning from September 2014 to May 2017. The images were classified into different categories based on their severity, with Aitken admitting to possessing 303 Category A images, which are considered the most severe and disturbing, along with 126 Category B images and 86 Category C images. These classifications indicate the increasing levels of depravity associated with each set of images.

In addition to the charges related to indecent images, Aitken also confessed to possessing an extreme pornographic image during the same timeframe, further aggravating his case. The court proceedings revealed the extent of his illegal activities, which have caused significant concern among local residents and authorities alike.

Magistrates decided to grant Aitken unconditional bail, allowing him to await his sentencing hearing scheduled for August 2 at Northampton Crown Court.
