CARMOSORIANO FROM PARNWELL SENTENCED IN CAMBRIDGE FOR SEX OFFENSES

In a recent court ruling, Carmo Soriano, an 18-year-old resident of St Michael’s Gate in Parnwell, has been sentenced to nearly two years behind bars.

The sentencing follows his admission of breaching the strict conditions imposed on him as a registered sex offender.

Soriano was placed on the Sex Offenders Register in January of the previous year after being convicted of a serious offense involving the incitement of a child under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity.

As part of his legal obligations, Soriano was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which is designed to restrict and control his behavior to prevent further harm.

The management and oversight of all registered sex offenders within Cambridgeshire are handled by the local Public Protection Unit.

This specialized team conducts regular and unannounced visits to offenders’ residences, including Soriano’s home in Parnwell.

During these visits, officers check electronic devices, review the offender’s online activity, and engage in detailed discussions about their lifestyle and compliance with the conditions of their release.
