PORTSMOUTH PAEDOPHILE JAILED OVER EFFORTS TO MEET 'GIRL', 13, FOR SEX
Brynley Hocking, aged 45 and residing on Chichester Road in North End, attempted to lure a girl by expressing his desire for a sexual encounter.
Unbeknownst to him, he was actually communicating with an undercover police officer.
He was subsequently arrested and found to be in possession of extreme pornography, which included images of bestiality and indecent images of children, some as young as two years old.
At Portsmouth Crown Court, Hocking received a sentence of three years and four months in prison after pleading guilty to charges of arranging and facilitating sexual activity with a minor, attempting to engage in sexual communications, and possessing indecent images of children.
Additionally, he will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
