Repeat paedophile father-of-four jailed for hiding child abuse videos in Telford

Bryan Stringer, a father of four from Sutton Hill, Telford, was found with videos of children being sexually abused on a hidden laptop in his bedroom while he was on a suspended sentence for previously downloading indecent images of children. The police received intelligence in October last year indicating he was again downloading such material. He had previously admitted to making indecent images and was given a suspended sentence in 2023. On October 8, officers visited his home, where his partner answered the door and confirmed Stringer was upstairs. The court proceedings revealed that he had kept the videos on a secret laptop in his house, which he used despite his previous conviction.
