MAN FLOODED HOME BY RIPPING OUT SINK DURING DOMESTIC ABUSE INCIDENT
A man from the county caused flooding in his former residence by tearing out a sink from the wall.Bryan Dennison forcefully detached the fixture from the wall during an incident of domestic violence at a property in Cowpits, Whitecraig, earlier this year.
During the confrontation, Dennison, aged 44, shouted, used obscene language, behaved aggressively, and issued threats of violence, prompting police to be called to handle the situation.
When officers arrived, they found that Dennison, who currently resides on North High Street, Musselburgh, had flooded the house and damaged belongings by destroying items inside.
He was apprehended and formally charged, subsequently admitting guilt to charges involving abuse of a partner when he appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court from custody on March 23.
His sentencing, originally scheduled for last week, was postponed at the request of Sheriff John Cook to allow Dennison to participate in the LEAP substance rehabilitation program.
