WOMAN HANDED COMMUNITY ORDER FOR STALKING IN CARDIGAN
A woman from Cardigan who pursued a man for four months has been sentenced to community service and placed under restraining orders.
Bridget Green, who was formerly residing in Pendre but now lives at 57 Park Hall, Carmarthen, appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on September 10.
The 34-year-old admitted at an earlier hearing to stalking Vivan Herselman in Cardigan from March 17 to July 31 of this year.
The court was informed that Green repeatedly sent messages, made phone calls, and appeared at Vivan's home, despite the contact being unwelcome.
Magistrates imposed a community order that includes a 28-day ban on alcohol, mental health support, and rehabilitation programs.
Additionally, she was issued a restraining order and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
She was also directed to cover £85 in court costs plus a £114 surcharge.
