BRIAN MURPHY FROM LINCOLNSHIRE SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES INVOLVING UNDERAGE GIRLS

A man identified as Brian Murphy in Lincolnshire has received a six-year prison sentence after admitting to multiple sexual offences involving underage girls. Murphy, a tree surgeon from Ryhall near Stamford, engaged in online grooming activities, solicited indecent images, and attempted to meet a child for sexual activity during online conversations. His arrest was supported by a vigilante group, which helped police uncover thousands of illicit images on his devices. Murphy will serve six years in prison and an additional four years on licence. These measures include supervision and monitoring of his internet use to prevent further offences.
