ANTIQUES TV STAR SENTENCED FOR STALKING FURNITURE TRADER
An antiques expert who starred in the reality TV show Storage Hunters has been handed a suspended prison sentence after being found guilty of stalking a furniture trader.
Boudicca Scherazade, aged 48, was convicted last month at St Albans Magistrates' Court.
The court heard that she had repeatedly sent Laurence Roche numerous texts and emails over a three-year period, including comments like "I love your curls".
She also bombarded him with messages stating "Come over, make me yours.
Own my soul.
Say my name, I will give everything I own, I love you Laurence Roche" and "I need to cuddle up with you now.
Your woman can't spoil you like I can and give you babies like I can".
Additionally, she claimed to have sent intimate pictures of herself and asserted that they exchanged messages with sexual content.
Mr Roche stated he never responded to her emails and testified that he had "done nothing" to encourage her.
The court found her guilty, citing her persistent messaging and unwanted advances.
Scherazade received an 18-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, along with a 12-month community order and was ordered to pay £1,000 towards the prosecution costs.
She first met the victim at a market in 2013 and had pleaded not guilty to the stalking charge.
