MAN JAILED WHO FORCED EX TO SNORT COCAINE
An Albanian man received a prison sentence after being convicted of abusive conduct towards a woman, which involved controlling her clothing choices, dictating her social interactions, and forcing her to take illegal substances.Berajd Mazari, who resides in Lark Rise, Brackley, Northamptonshire, was implicated in these offences that took place in Banbury during 2024.
On January 23, a jury in Oxford returned a verdict of guilty on charges of controlling and coercive behavior, as well as possession of an imitation firearm.
The 24-year-old also admitted to possessing cannabis, cocaine, and a counterfeit Italian driving licence.
He was found not guilty of charges including intentional strangulation, rape, and kidnapping.
The sentencing occurred at Oxford Crown Court on March 6, leading to a 30-month prison term.
Additionally, he was ordered to stay away from the victim and her mother for seven years.
Authorities also ordered the seizure and destruction of the drugs, along with the forfeiture of the fake driving licence, knives, and a BB gun found at his residence.
