SLEAFORD MAN JAILED FOR EXTORTING TEACHER OVER EXPLICIT MESSAGES
A man accused of attempting to blackmail a married teacher for nearly £1,000 has been identified as Benjamin Priest, 36, from Sleaford. The court heard that Priest found explicit messages exchanged between the teacher and another woman and tried to extort £950 after discovering the messages sent via the internet.
Lincoln Crown Court heard the teacher claimed in the lurid messages that he would like to see the woman have sex with her dog and he also admitted he would "possibly" go with a 14-year-old.
The teacher, who cannot be named for legal reasons, exchanged explicit photos and discussed 'sexual taboos' with the woman he met online.
Lincoln Crown Court was told that Priest admitted blackmail following the incident in January of this year and was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
