CRAZED STALKER PROWLED TESCO LOOKING FOR EX-LOVER BEFORE REPEATEDLY STABBING SUPERMARKET WORKER IN HORRIFYING ATTACK
A 35-year-old man, Ben Jenkins, was caught prowling Tesco in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire, looking for his ex-lover Louise McGarry last July 9.
He stormed into the staff area and attacked Louise with a multi-tool knife, repeatedly stabbing her in the stomach, ripping out her hearing implant, and causing wounds to her neck, stomach, and arm.
She was rushed to hospital and suffered from PTSD, anxiety, and depression, as well as scarring.
Jenkins, who already had a string of offences involving ex-partners, pleaded guilty to attempted murder at the High Court in Glasgow and will be sentenced next month.
Jenkins has prior convictions for assault, stalking, and attacking a woman.
He was remanded at Dundee and will face an extended 12-year sentence.
