A man who owns a takeaway restaurant in Aberdeen has been handed a six-year prison sentence after being convicted of abducting and sexually assaulting a vulnerable young woman at his establishment.
The incident took place during a night out in Aberdeen city centre, where the 21-year-old victim, who was intoxicated, became separated from her friends and found herself in a distressing situation.
Behroz Hamedi, aged 60, was found guilty of locking the young woman inside Marco’s Fast Food on Belmont Street before subjecting her to a prolonged sexual assault.
